After two successful trips managed on our alpha version of YouLi, one Wedding and one Corporate event, we’ve decided to relaunch early 2017 with our Beta version.

Beta just means that the next release won’t be everything we envision but it will provide the features you need to reduce your planning stress. We are seeking beta clients with trips planned for the second half of 2017. Contact us to see if you qualify to be in our beta.

While we are busy building the software based on all the great feedback we’ve gotten, we are also planning our own destination event for 2017. That’s because we Live to Travel and even geeks need to get out once and a while.

Inspired by our Mt Fuji success, we’ve decided to tackle another mountain: Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, East Africa. It is the tallest free standing mountain in the world and the tallest mountain in Africa at 19,340 ft/5,895m tall. It is around the same elevation as Everest base camp – eek! Sara Roccisano of Embolden Adventure fame is already training.

Since we aren’t monkish wise men, climbing a mountain alone isn’t our cup of tea. Shockingly, we plan to go as a group (8+) and we are coming from all over the world. We are building a custom tour with a local operator and partnering with Monochrome International to raise money for local schools.

I’ve been recently inspired by a chance meeting with Zach who recently climbed Kili for his birthday. Yes, that is a birthday beer in his hand!
